Frequently
Asked
Questions
If your question is not answered here, you are welcome to contact me at any time by using the contact form.
How quickly will I receive the translation?
The delivery date always depends on how much time is needed to complete the translation. To keep you informed from the start, the earliest possible delivery date is included in the non-binding offer. Longer delivery times are typically due to the complexity or length of the original text.
How does the payment work?
The invoice is delivered along with the finished translation and can be paid by bank transfer. Cash payment is not possible.
I have an appointment with a public authority and need to bring an interpreter with me. What do I have to do?
Send me an enquiry with the exact details of your appointment (place, time, topic and estimated duration) and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
What is a certified translation and when do I need one?
In Austria, certified translations can only be produced by court interpreters and must bear an official stamp. Any translated documents intended for submission to public authorities must be certified.
In which form will I receive the final translation?
Since a certified translation is an official document in its own right, only the printed and stamped version is valid. You will therefore receive the certified translation by post.
